Learn how to build a game art portfolio that highlights your uniqueness and skill, guided by Senior World Artist, Jeryce Dianingana (Electronic Arts, Rocksteady, Eidos, Ubisoft.)

Jeryce brings a strong storytelling approach to both his professional and personal work, drawing inspiration from African art and culture to create a distinctive and cohesive portfolio. In this mentorship, he helps artists develop a visual identity and how to make intentional design choices that give their environments more purpose and clarity.

You’ll choose to build either a hero asset or a full environment, taking your project from concept through to final renders. Throughout the mentorship, Jeryce will share his expertise in sculpting, lighting, and composition, as well as his approach to art direction and storytelling. You will receive regular reviews and detailed feedback to help you refine and strengthen your work as you progress.

By the end of the mentorship, you will have a portfolio piece that reflects your creativity and style, while demonstrating solid technical skills and knowledge of production workflows.

Please note: Mentorship start dates are guidelines – the exact date will be determined by your Mentor. Each session will be scheduled to best accommodate both mentors and mentees.

Jeryce Dianingana was born in Paris, France to Congolese parents. Between his time working on AAA games in studios such as Ubisoft, Eidos-Montreal, Rocksteady and EA, Jeryce has built up a powerful body of afro-centric 3D art inspired by his African heritage. He aspires to be a voice for the rich diversity of African culture and to help increase the visibility of his design in the video game and movie industries.
