Whether you’re building your first portfolio or expanding your professional skill set, our courses are designed to meet you where you are and get you where you want to go.

Enroll in a Course

Ready to start? Just head to the course page, click “Enroll Now” and follow the checkout process. You’ll receive a confirmation email and onboarding details shortly after.

Inside the Academy

Sierra Division Academy offers live mentorships and guided courses led by working professionals in the video game and entertainment industries. We currently operate on a quarterly basis. Here’s how we structure our educational offerings:

Course Structure

Pre-recorded lectures
Live Q&A sessions with your instructor
Personalized feedback on your assignments

Mentorship Models

8 weeks of portfolio piece guidance
8 individual one-hour sessions
Personalized demos and paint-overs
Access to session notes and transcripts
Access to the Sierra Division Discord
Career Guidance Package:
- Two 1.5 hour one-on-one sessions with your mentor
- Access to a shared Miro board
- Session notes and transcript
- Dedicated mentorship Discord channels

How Quarters Work

Our educational content is available across four quarters each year: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Course Schedule for 2025

Summer: July 7 through October 3, 2025
Fall: October 6 through December 19, 2025

Mentorship Schedule for 2025

Winter: January 2 through March 31, 2025
Spring: April 1 through June 30, 2025
Summer: July 1 through September 30, 2025
Fall: October 1 through December 31, 2025

Please note: Mentorship start dates are guidelines—each program will be scheduled to best accommodate both mentors and mentees.

After the Course

Students who complete courses will receive a certificate of completion from Sierra Division Academy.
